After almost three months of working tirelessly to get the correct paperwork together we have successfully exported our first order of haylage post Brexit to France. It would be fair to say it has been a tricky process from new export rules, finding customs agents, no one being sure what to class haylage as and what certification it needed but teamwork and good communication makes things happen. We worked closely with APHA, our very patient French customer and a fantastic haulier Kevin Bound.
Said Kevin Bound the haulier: “We got there in the end! Our successful export has been forwarded to Defra and we are looking forward to assisting them with future export of forage”.
Said Liz “What a huge relief!! I lost count of the number of hours, tears and tantrums that have gone into this over the past 3 months. Thank you to everyone who had to put up with my endless moans, rants and grumpiness”!
