Kitty King took MHS Monbeg Junior to victory winning the British Novice Championships at Hambro Sport Horses Burgham International Horse Trials in Northumberland between 28th July and 1st August.
Scoring just 29.4 in the dressage, this set the scene for the cross country and show jumping where the duo jumped an immaculate double clear in the time to win this prestigious class.
Taking the Championship title comes as no surprise. Kitty is the expert at producing successful eventers from Novice to Olympic level.
Usually held at Gatcombe Park, the National Championships have a long and distinguished history and have been won by all the top names in eventing.
